Jeremy Sumpter

Yesterday I was bored after our interaction, I went home and watched the television. While I was searching for an interesting movie, I was astonished when "Peter Pan" (movie) was shown in Star movies channel. It was the story that i really liked but aside from that I was really into the guy who is playing Peter Pan which is Jeremy Sumpter. Here are some things about him:

Jeremy Sumpter

He was born in February 05, 1989. His parents are Sandy and Gary Sumpter. He has a twin sister, Jessica Sumpter, and two other siblings namely Travis and Jennifer.

His First movie was "Frailty" and he received a Saturn Award as "Best Performance by a Young Actor". In July 2002, he was selected for the role of Peter Pan. He did nearly all of his stunts for the film himself. To prepare, he says he practiced sword fighting as much as five hours a day, as well as training in gymnastics and lifting weights. While filming in Australia, he supplemented his training with cricket and surfing. He grew several inches while in the film's production, requiring staging tricks to retain Captain Hook's height advantage over Peter in face-to-face scenes late in the process. Producer Lucy Fisher also said that, "The window he flies out of had to be enlarged twice." He won both a Saturn and Young Artist Award for the film.
